Jorge Manilla: Unconventional Beauty

About

This exhibition shows a selection of pieces from Jorge Manilla’s work from recent years. Manilla uses every day and low-hierarchy materials such as wood, leather, paper, seaweed, and plaster and creates monochrome organic images and three-dimensional structures where geometry and the organic interact. in a contrasting way.

This selection seems to have been recovered from a past with a deep history or, on the contrary, post-apocalyptic objects that suggest us to think of a declining future where the rational and emotional aspects of the human being are in a Constant struggle.
