The author’s jewelry presented by Jana Machatová and Petr Machat is not appearing in the Čin Čin gallery for the first time. They will present their latest jewelry works on this almost home field. Jana Machatová’s narrative is moving this time, there remains an interest in a strong feminine layer. He draws his training women with wire and lets them perform in compositionally generous ensembles. Today, she adds ebony and rosewood to porcelain, which she recently included in her jewelry.
For a long time, Petr Machat has clearly shown a strong interest in the interested communication between the creator of the jewelry and its wearer/viewer. His brooches and hangings relate to specific people, portraying their hands and scars in an almost holographic record. He puts the reality of the experienced pain into medallions and encodes it with a moment of surprise, concern.
